Mountains offer us a different perspective from which to view the world around us. In much the same way, going to the mountain gives us a fresh perspective on life. Mountains take us to higher levels of awareness. We're able to get away from it all and look around us with new eyes , a renewed sense of wonder , and a higher level of conciousnes . Being up on a mountain gives us the sense of rising above our troubles, of overcoming our limitations.
There's no better place to view the stars or take in the vast expanses of land that stretch out across the horizon. Perhaps the mountains fascinate us because they bring us closer to the natural wonders that are often too great to comprehend.
