Stay a week and explore the New River Valley - you're only 12 minutes to access on the 55 mile scenic New River Trail (biking and hiking trail), 12 minutes to the Draper Village (restaurant, tea room, eclectic shopping, bike rentals, massage therapy, agritourism), 15 minutes to Foster Falls State Park (horseback riding, kayak/canoe access) and 25 minutes to Claytor Lake State Park (beach area, motorized boat rentals, hiking trails).

This home has very limited connectivity. While DISH Network TV is available, there is no internet connectivity and no land line telephone available. Cell service is spotty with some guests reporting intermittent service and some reporting none at all. We plan to have internet connectivity as soon as a practical solution is available. Unfortunately, high-earth-orbit satellite is the only option at this time and the bandwidth limit on that service makes it a poor solution.
